Ebay Affiliate Wordpress Plugin Tool Increases Revenue

Posted on September 6th, 2007 in Pimp Your Blog! by fox

I came across what appears to be a great little Wordpress Plugin for anyone who is an Ebay affiliate.

Once the EbayRSS plugin is installed into Wordpress you can write posts on your blog as you normally would and simply add 1 small line of text at the end of each article to generate a mini Ebay listing. It’s really that easy! And the plugin goes one step further by hiding any ebay references in the links. This means the links are keyword focused and therefore much better for the SEO of your Wordpress blog.

The plugin relies on the subject of your post so if you write a post on Wii the plugin will show Ebay auctions selling Wii related products.

By inserting your affiliate ID in the admin panel, you get a commission for any sales generated from you post!

There is a free version and a paid version. Grab the free version below. Click here if you’d like to see the features of the paid version

Add The PlugIM Votebox To Your Wordpress Blog

Another take on the “Digg it” voting buttons. PlugIM is fast becoming popular and having the voting buttons on your blog greatly increases your  blog’s exposure to the internet community.

After reading your post, your blog visitors can click on the button to cast a vote for your post. This is displayed on the PlugIM website and the more votes you gain, the higher your blog is positioned. It’s that simple.

A very effective web 2.0 technique to increase your blog’s stickiness and attract fresh visitors.

Installation Instructions:

1. Upload `wp-plugim.php` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory using your FTP software (I use Smart FTP)
2. To activate the plugin go to the ‘Plugins’ menu in your WordPress control panel
3. The PlugIM votebox will appear on each of your posts automatically.
