Professional Graphics Make Your Website Sell Like Crazy

Posted on September 24th, 2007 in Internet Marketing by fox

I’m writing today because I want to share an amazing product that’s made
my products sell like crazy!

Nope…it’s not because I had my salescopy redone.

Nope…it’s not because I had JV’s promoting my site.

Nope…it’s not because I used another whiz-bang software that
claims to give you a ton of traffic…

Guessed what it is yet?

It’s the brand spankin’ new “CopyAndPasteGraphics” Volume 2!

This package contains a mother-load, a ship-container load, a
universe-load worth of graphics that will make your websites sexy,
spicy and most of all profit-pulling.

Click Here To See Exactly What I’m So Excited About!

I know you’re busy, so in a nutshell, here’s just a touch of what you’ll
get in this amazing graphics package:

* 390 professionally made buttons,

* 70 bullets & arrows,

* 38 seals & badges,

* 10 “animated” order buttons,

* And many more graphics that can help beautify your
sales pages and increase your conversion rates through
the roof!

But that’s not all! The reason I love this package so much is that

Aurelius really over delivers. You’ll see loads of graphics packages

around & I only endorse 2. Now if you’re wanting to take your sales

to the next level you’ll be wanting mini site templates.

The gurus pay $197 for a basic mini site template. Thats right. They’re

not cheap! But, for a one time cost to get a Diamond membership you receive

professionally designed mini site templates every month. That’s a value of

$2364! They are fully customisable too so you simply add your text and

you’re away.

This is by far the best value package I’ve seen on the market today. Many have

replicated the package but none have offered the outstanding value this membership

provides.

If you’re a serious marketer and you’re on a budget then you owe it to your business

to check this out.

Whateverlife 17yr Old Millionaire From Krispy Kreme Marketing

Posted on September 20th, 2007 in Internet Marketing by fox

Can a 17 year old really become a millionaire?

Whether you answer Yes or no - 1 particular 17 year old
girl has done exactly that.

Her name is Ashley Qualls and she is the creator and founder
of Whateverlife.com. A fun website that caters to teens who
use Myspace. Aimed predominately at tenage girls, Whateverlife.com
provides tutorials, themes and designs for Myspace users.

The site itself looks very professional and has a fun comic
element. Whateverlife.com attracts more than 60 million page
views per month according to Google analytics and has a following of
more than 7 million visitors each month. Most seasoned websites cannot
even create figures such as these.

Whilst Whateverlife.com is reaching staggering rates of pageviews
you’ll be interested to know that Ashley’s site is even beating
well known websites such as Oprah.com, Britannica.com, Americanidol.com
and CBS.com. As if weren’t enough Whateverlife.com even boasts a
larger audience than Seventeen, Teen Vogue and Cosmogirl! magazines
COMBINED!

So, how did Whateverlife.com start? Ashley Qualls is a normal 17 year old
girl with no connections, no rich family members, and is from a broken home
herself. Ashley started playing with web design at the tender age of 9!
And her break came when she discovered she could provide customised layouts
for MySpace pages to other teenagers. She began all this by providing layouts
to her friends and when demand grew she started to post them on her website.

Ashley Qualls is a Millionaire and had no list, no professional education,
no contacts, has never paid for advertising and in fact couldn’t even pay for
her hosting costs! Ashley would barter with her hosting company by offering
website templates in return for hosting. Her only cost in setting up her website
was $8 to register the domain name - and she borrowed this from her mother. When
traffic grew substantially Ashley needed her own server and her web host suggested
she use Adsense ads on her site to generate revenue. Ashley didn’t even know
that such an income could exist!

Once she designed several MySpace layouts and told her friends, word quickly spread.
I call this Krispy Kreme Marketing. When Krispy Kreme opened up its first store
in Australia, the company didn’t pay a cent for advertising. Nada, zilch, zero!
Instead Krispy Kremem relied on word of mouth advertising. By sending boxes of donuts
to radio stations and tv stations all they had to do was sit back and watch everyone
start talking about their product.

The same principle applied for Ashley Qualls. When a few friends visiting her site
turned into hundreds, thousands then millions through word of mouth via email
and MySpace. Not bad at all.

Whateverlife.com now earns in excess of $70,000 in revenue each month and Ashley has
received several offers to sell her company.

Naturally Ashley quit school and now works on her business full time. She has
already bought a house and has been offered $1.5M and a car of her choice to sell
her company. Ashley has declined the offer to sell and still makes a solid income
that most 40 year old would be envious of.

What’s the motto to this story? It’s simple, have an idea, target a hungry niche
and keep plugging away. Sometimes the simplest of ideas generate the most interest.

Are You Following Up With Your Customers?

Posted on September 20th, 2007 in Internet Marketing by fox

Many online marketers focus their marketing efforts on acquiring

new customers and building their lists. After all “the money is in the list” right?
Many marketers however, successfully get subscribers to signup, then forget them
Until it’s time to sell again. Your subscriber base should be treated with some respect.

These are people who have already done business with you

and are much more likely to buy again if they have a good “shopping” experience.

This is so important - especially if you’re a new marketer trying to build your online business

and reputation.

Too many businesses fail to follow up with customers after an initial sale.

It can be as easy as sending an automated email 2 days after the purchase

stating “I hope you’ve enjoyed your download”; “if you’re having trouble with your

product, please visit our blog/support page for assistance” or offering a free tool or

service that relates to their purchase as a value add. This will come as a pleasant

surprise to your customers!

Of course directing them to your blog or website may generate more sales if you have other

products on offer.

Your customers have already made a purchase from you so you know that you had an enticing

product and they are willing to whip out their credit card. The main goal is do not drop the ball!

That’s it. Just communicate with your paying customers by offering followup

service, tips and helpful advice and you will be reassuring your customers that

you are a serious business owner.
This will surely put you in good stead when it comes time to sell to your

subscribers later on. They already know that you’re reliable & they won’t hesitate

to buy from you again!

Photo Blogging May Be The Pinnacle

Posted on September 20th, 2007 in Blogging by fox

Many people feel that photo blogging is the most
exciting kind of blogging that exists. Building and
maintaining a photo blog is no more difficult than
creating and updating a text-based blog, and many
people feel that the internet’s high speed, full-color
technology reaches the pinnacle of its appeal with the
transmission of images. Posting photographs in a blog
format on a daily, weekly, or occasional basis is a great
way to express yourself while reaching viewers in an
emotionally charged and aesthetically engaging way,
and surfing photo blogs can help you to get a whole
new perspective on the world in which we live.

Many people who run image blogs are photographers by
trade, but photo blogging is also very popular among
hobbyists and amateur shutterbugs. To be certain, a lot
of the most popular photo blogs have gained attention
because the pictures on them are of the highest artistic
caliber, and a lot of the people who run these striking
blogs are graduates of prestigious art schools and have
impressive professional portfolios. However, some of
the most well known and most often visited photo blogs
are as notable for their concepts as for the pictures
themselves. Certain photo blogs, like the popular “Cute
Overload” which features picture after picture of
adorable animals, are more about the thematic content
of the pictures than they are about the style in which the
snapshots are taken.

The fact that photo blogs range from forums to display
the work of highly skilled artisans to playful collections
of curiosities shows that photo blogging is a truly
diverse form. The fact that photo blogs are so easy to
build and to update makes this kind of visual
communication very democratic, and enables people at
all skill levels to become a part of the global
conversation about the nature and value of photography
today.

Whether you are an artist or hobbyist who wants to
create a photo blog, or whether you are just somebody
who enjoys learning about new places and things,
spending some time looking at the most popular
photography blogs on the internet can be a very
rewarding endeavor. You can travel to another place or
another time by seeing pictures of faraway locations and
long-gone eras. You can see your own neighborhood
with fresh eyes by discover how local artists have
photographed the town or city in which you live. Photo
blogging allows people to communicate all of these
things and more, which makes it a very exciting part of
the modern blogosphere. If the best thing about web
technology is that it allows people to reach each other in
a very personal way from across great distances, then in
many ways photo blogs are the most successful kind of
web sites.

How To Create A High Converting Sales Page

Posted on September 17th, 2007 in Web Design, Internet Marketing by fox

Computer technology has changed the way the business was done10 years back. Today through internet you can approach your prospective customer worldwide sitting at your office or even from your home. Today most of selling and buying activities are performed over internet in a virtual environment. Now the obvious pertinent question which comes to your mind is how you convince your customers to buy your products or services! The most effective way of doing this is through an attractive website. But just giving your company’s profile and product description in simple text not only makes your website unattractive but also makes your customers feel low about your company. Hence, use of sales graphics does wonder in turning a dull website to an attractive one. Use of sales graphics increases the traffic to your website and also ranking in the search engine. High ranking ensures that more prospective buyers visit the website and sales graphics ensures that most of the prospective buyers convert to actual buyers. In today’s busy world your customers do not have time to go through your sales page by reading each sentence. Instead they prefer to give a look at the sales graphics and make a buying decision. With the help of professionally created sales graphics the conversion rate goes high resulting in higher sales and higher profit.

Mini-sites graphics are considered one of the most effective marketing tools in a virtual environment. Mini-site is a single page sales letter often used to close the deal. Mini-site takes you to the order form for finally placing the order to your company. Unlike your website which has several pages mini-site has only one page. Thus it is sometimes difficult to make it optimized for search engines within this limited scope. But it is possible with a little bit of HTML coding. In the headline of the mini-site you should include the keyword and the content with high keywords density. Professionally designed mini-site graphics should be placed appropriately to make it look attractive and increase the traffic to your page. A partner site can be created in a different domain with a link to the original which should have content and graphics related to the keywords. All these mini-site graphics make your sales page an user friendly site which the buyers would love to access.

Digital publication is becoming increasing popular in this technology age. Electronic book or e-book is now considered to be the most powerful marketing tool by many companies. E-book graphics are therefore used to make it look attractive and professional. These e-book graphics do not occupy much memory space and can be easily downloaded from the internet to a pen drive or burn a CD so that they can be carried like a conventional book for subsequent offline use. You can make a collection of related documents to create a library of e-book graphics. Attractive e-book graphics help the readers to navigate easily. Unlike physical books or photographs, e-book graphics are dynamic and self explanatory, does not occupy a physical space and does not get torn and wear out over the years.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

Posted on September 17th, 2007 in Blogging by fox

Eek! The blank screen of death for your blog is when you see the dreaded Parse error where your blog once displayed.

For many bloggers this can be a daunting experience. What is a Parse Error? What did you do wrong? How do you fix your blog? Well relax as it’s not as bad as it seems. Fortune Fox was actually down recently due to a Parse error that was generated from the sidebar. As a seasoned web developer I understand PHP scripts but even I couldn’t see the cause of the problem - and my eyes were glazing over whilst trying to search for it!

What do you do when you have an error on your blog and have no idea how to fix it? Well, I turned to PHP Builder. They have a forum where people can post their issues or view other people’s PHP script problems. PHP Builder has a team of professional and polite moderators who can assist you.

The Parse error experienced by Fortune fox was due to an apostrophe - yes this small symbol ‘. No wonder I missed it! But the very kind and helpful moderators at PHP Builder picked it up and replied to my query in no time! Thanks to NogDog - a big thumbs up.

Newbie Asks “I need help building a website For My Business”

Posted on September 6th, 2007 in Web Design by fox

There are a few things to consider when building a website for a business.

1. Are you selling products? If so you may require a shopping cart to be set up. Nearly all web hosting companies provide one and it can be set up via the admin panel (CPanel) on your hosting account.
2. Are you selling products that will be downloadable? If so you need to ensure that your monthly bandwidth quota will be sufficient to cover visitors browsing your site and downloading products. And you will want to ensure your download links are protected.
3. Design. You can either download free templates or paid templates from the web and edit them yourself using software such as NVU (free) or Dreamweaver (costs). These programs are known as WYSIWYG = What You See Is What You Get. Which means you don’t have to know HTML. You simply edit almost as if you were creating a word document. As you type and insert pictures and links the software automatically inserts code.

A lot of your website creation depends on your type of business and your budget.

If you’re not comfortable putting it together yourself and you can afford to invest some money, then I recommend outsourcing the work. You can do this through rentacoder.com or getafreelancer.com. You will need to work out what you want done.

Do you want a logo to be designed?
Will you supply a template? (I’d supply one as it will reduce your costs)
So in hiring someone you may want them to use the template you provide and set up your shopping cart, add your products, write descriptions for your products.

Do a Yahoo search for “free CSS templates” CSS is important - it means Cascading Style Sheet and it is a script that accompanies your website to manage the style and layout of your site pages.  A good source of free CSS templates is “freeCSStemplates.org”

Then check out similar jobs on rentacoder or getafreelancer to see what the going rates are. When choosing an outsource check their reviews! Ask for examples of their work and make sure they understand exactly what you want from them. Ensure they have HTML, Web Design, PHP, Perl, and maybe even JavaScript experience.

Good luck with your site.

Ebay Affiliate Wordpress Plugin Tool Increases Revenue

Posted on September 6th, 2007 in Pimp Your Blog! by fox

I came across what appears to be a great little Wordpress Plugin for anyone who is an Ebay affiliate.

Once the EbayRSS plugin is installed into Wordpress you can write posts on your blog as you normally would and simply add 1 small line of text at the end of each article to generate a mini Ebay listing. It’s really that easy! And the plugin goes one step further by hiding any ebay references in the links. This means the links are keyword focused and therefore much better for the SEO of your Wordpress blog.

The plugin relies on the subject of your post so if you write a post on Wii the plugin will show Ebay auctions selling Wii related products.

By inserting your affiliate ID in the admin panel, you get a commission for any sales generated from you post!

There is a free version and a paid version. Grab the free version below. Click here if you’d like to see the features of the paid version
